Kyle Kuzma bagged 28 points, 10 rebounds and five assists and the Washington Wizards, after seeing star Bradley Beal limp off in the last minute, defeated the Charlotte Hornets 106-102. Beal managed to achieve 26 points, but wasn’t on the floor for the final 9.8 seconds in spite of Washington being up just two points. He walked out with a slight limp to the locker room before the game wrapped up after taking a knee to the thigh. Beal underwent extensive medical treatment after the game and did not come in front of the reporters, but his limp still lasted in the locker room. Wizards coach Wes Unseld Jr. said Beal will have to take a re-evaluation on Monday.
All five Washington starters chalked up double figures. The Wizards have won six of seven.
