Denver Nuggets is drafting a strategy for the 2022 NBA offseason, but it seems like they are involved in a trade with a veteran forward, JaMychal Green. Nuggets have supposedly traded the player with the 2027 first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder while in return they get the 30th overall pick for the upcoming Draft and two future second-round picks. OKC now has a versatile player in the squad in form of Green.
While the Nuggets have freed up their salary space by shaving off $20 million off Denver’s salary now they can explore the trade market with more freedom. In the Draft they could even go for a player that would give results right away like Bennedict Mathurin (Arizona), Jeremy Sochan (Baylor), or Mark Williams (Duke). Trading Green has opened up a lot of possible good moves for Nuggets as GM Calvin Booth’s first official move seems very exciting.
