Bradley Beal missed a total of three matches and came back to the Wizards lineup as they took on Cavs on Thursday. Returning to his former self Beal scored a total of 29 points with six rebounds and 10 assists to help the Wizards in their 110-93 triumph over Cavs at Capital One Arena. Wizards also welcomed back Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Anthony Gill to the roster while they still missed Spencer Dinwiddie, Montrezl Harrel, Aaron Holiday, and Raul Neto due to COVID-19 protocols.
It seemed like Beal was making up for the time lost scoring 21 of his 29 points in the first half itself, on 9-13 shooting before halftime. Wizards build a 15 point lead somewhere between the second and third quarter and held onto that till the end. The team will now continue a four-game homestand and host the Bulls next.
