The Abu Dhabi T10 has entered a new chapter after Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub acquired majority ownership and full commercial control of the tournament, transforming it into a fully Abu Dhabi‑owned and managed competition. Under the new structure, ADCSH will oversee the league as a long‑term national sporting asset, supported by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and backed by the Emirates Cricket Board. The 2026 edition, scheduled from November seven to twenty at Zayed Cricket Stadium, will be the first held entirely under this framework.
Eight franchises and prospective ownership groups will be invited to participate through a forthcoming tender process. Officials describe the shift as a strategic evolution that strengthens governance and global ambitions for cricket’s fastest format. They emphasise that the tournament’s core identity, high‑intensity ten‑over matches, international stars and a modern broadcast product, will remain central. The ECB has formally endorsed the new model, signalling unified support for the league’s future direction.
