Australia beat India by 10 wickets in Vizag

In the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, March 19, Australia defeated India by 10 wickets to snap India's eight-match winning streak in one-day internationals. After defeating Bangladesh in December at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury in Chattogram thanks to Ishan Kishan's double century, India began a winning run. India won the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka 3-0 to kick off 2023.

India was dismissed for 117 runs in 26 overs. India's formidable batting lineup was dismantled by Mitchell Starc, who claimed five wickets. The vital dismissals of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, and Mohammed Siraj were secured by the left-arm bowler. Axar Patel continued to collect unbroken runs at 29, while Kohli scored 31 runs for India. Axar's performance enabled India to surpass the 100-run threshold. Nathan Ellis and Sean Abbott each secured two and three wickets, respectively.
