Australians stagger in their last Twenty20 world cup warm-up

The last warm-up match for the Twenty20 World Cup did not go as planned for Australia who was overpowered by a brilliant effort by India before their big opener. The most surprising of all was Australia’s all-rounder Mitch Marsh went for a golden duck. Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took apart the batting order by catching opener David Warner for one run then took out Marsh as well who edged the ball to Rohit Sharma.

Ravindra Jadeja improved the chances of India’s win further when he scalped the wicket of Australian captain Aaron Finch who added just eight runs and Australia was looking at the score of 3-11 after just 19 deliveries. India is chasing a score of 153 in their second warm-up match after they beat England in the first match with seven wickets.
