Debutant Netherlands grouped with India, Australia in Women's T20 WC

The International Cricket Council and ECB have confirmed the 2026 Women's T20 World Cup schedule, taking place from June 12 to July 5. After successful qualifying campaigns, the Netherlands earned a historic debut, joining Scotland, Ireland, and Bangladesh to finalize the roster.

Group 1 contains global heavyweights Australia, India, South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Dutch. Group 2 consists of England, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and Scotland.

Edgbaston hosts the opener between England and Sri Lanka. Significantly, June 14 sees the Netherlands play their first World Cup match against Bangladesh, preceding a blockbuster India versus Pakistan showdown.

Thirty-three matches will span seven grounds: Old Trafford, Headingley, Hampshire Bowl, Bristol, Edgbaston, and The Oval. The tournament culminates with the final at Lord's. With defending champions New Zealand and past winners England competing, this summer spectacle promises thrilling cricket across the United Kingdom's most iconic, world-class sporting stadiums.
