In what can be called a flat-out nail-biter, India crushed West Indies by two wickets in the second ODI to secure the three-match series by 2-0. Very much like the series opener, this challenge went right down to the last second, and the Men dressed in Blue once more figured out how to record another win. In the process, India even recorded their twelfth progressive two-sided ODI series win upon West Indies, most for a group against an opposition.
India's main adversaries Pakistan recently held the record, having won 11 back-to-back ODI series against Zimbabwe. In the meantime, India partook in a rollercoaster ride in the game as West Indies set up a splendid show. After posting a difficult 311/6 while batting first, the hosts took wickets at normal stretches and apparently fixed their hold over the challenge until All-rounder Axar Patel powered India to a record-breaking win.
