Mustafizur Rahman might be rested for upcoming ODI

In the ODI match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, many players of the former team were injured, including the likes of Mustafizur Rahman, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shoriful Islam and Liton Das. Bangladesh ended up losing the match as well by five wickets and failed to keep their 19-game winning streak in the ODI format alive. Of the quadruple, Liton has been rested for the entire series but the other three could be a part of the series later down the line, as has been confirmed by Bangladesh physio Muzadded Alpha Sany.

Mushfiqur Rahim the most recent addition to the injured list is suffering from a soft tissue issue, while Mustafizur's MRI revealed joint diffusion and soft tissue edema, and would have to be rested for the upcoming match so that he can regain his strength.
