The Netherlands have announced a 15-man squad for their upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 fixtures in Dubai, where they will face Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
Captain Bas de Leede will lead a group featuring Colin Ackermann, wicketkeeper Scott Edwards, Max O’Dowd and Paul van Meekeren, alongside several emerging talents. The 50-over competition provides a route toward the 2027 Cricket World Cup, scheduled across three southern African nations in November. The top four League 2 teams will qualify for the Global Qualifier, with the Netherlands already securing their place.
The United States lead the standings with 49 points, followed by Scotland on 45. The Dutch sit third with 38 points from 32 matches, while Oman occupy fourth position on 33.
Head coach Ashley Noffke wants to strengthen team combinations, build cohesion and give promising youngsters valuable international experience during the UAE tour.
