Pakistan vs West Indies 1st Test Day 2: WI leads by 34 runs

West Indies appeared in top gear on Day 2 of the first test series against Pakistan leading by 34 runs at Sabina Park on Friday. Though faced the century miss at 97, the West Indies captain took charge of sustaining the gameplay supported by former skipper Jason Holder (58). The rally leveled up the deficit 100 for five to 251 for eight at stumps before going into the third day.

The tourists’ first day total of 217 was chased and beaten well by  Roston Chase (21) and Jermaine Blackwood(22) along with Kraigg Brathwaite while Shaheen Shah Afridi took down Blackwood followed by Kyle Mayers and Hasan Ali crushing the last giant giving Pakistan an edge. Finally, Pakistan’s hopes are shaken by the latest momentum studded with a star like Mohammad Abbas leading the bowling order with three for 42.
