Pakistan’s tour with Zimbabwe would prepare them for T20 World Cup

After a complete annihilation of South Africa Pakistan is looking forward to the Zimbabwe tour as the team prepares for the upcoming T20 World Cup in India. The tour would kick off with a three-match T20I series first. Zimbabwe was whitewashed by Afghanistan in the T20I series and would be looking to change their fate. Sean Williams would lead Zimbabwe instead of white-ball captain Chamu Chibhabha, who was sidelined due to a serious thigh injury.

Williams-led team has some young faces in their squad this time, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Tanaka Chivanga, and Tapiwa Mufudza were impressive in the domestic series and earned their maiden callup. The squad would be incomplete without veteran players Brendan Taylor and Craig Ervine to boost the batting lineup. While Pakistan looks indestructible with Babar Azam and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan in great form, though Shadab Khan is being replaced by Faheem Ashraf after the player got injured.
