Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 37 runs

A high-scoring match was set up by Prabhsimran Singh's spectacular 91, which was dotted with six fours and seven sixes. Prabhsimran achieved his third straight fifty. Punjab's score was further strengthened to 236 for 5 by Shashank Singh's late appearance of 33 off 15 balls. Arshdeep Singh, a left-arm seamer, took three wickets in the powerplay to put Punjab ahead if Prabhsimran was outstanding at bat. In his first few innings, Arshdeep dismissed Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Marsh, and Aiden Markram, eliminating Lucknow from playoff contention.

Chasing 237, LSG managed 199/7. For LSG, Ayush Badoni was the lone ranger, scoring 74 off 40 balls. Earlier, Prabhsimran fell nine runs short of his second IPL century after attempting an audacious switch shot off Digvesh Rathi, ending his outstanding performance.
