Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 10 runs

Padikkal pulled a half century at 56 off 42 balls which was later supported by AB de Villiers (51 of 30) putting on a target of 163 for five for Sunrisers Hyderabad to chase. The chase was not impossible with Jonny Bairstow pulling 61 off 43 but RCB’s fielding, as well as bowling, was on point with Chahal taking 3 wickets for 18 runs. Similarly, Pacer Navdeep Saini took 2 for 25 and Shivam Dube also took 2 for 15 which was exactly what RCB needed from its pacers. RCB had put on a strong show cruising to 86 with no loss in 10 overs. Skipper Virat Kohli though did not stay for long scoring 14 off 13 thus leaving everything on the shoulders of de Villiers.
