Scotland kicks off their T20 World Cup 2021 campaign to a flying start as they register their second win in a World Cup by defeating Bangladesh in the first match of the group stage. The first win for the team came in 2016 when they defeated Hong Kong.
Chris Greaves handed a perfect start to Scotland on Sunday night in Al Amerat. Scotland was having a hard time after being reduced to 53 for six in the 12th over then Greaves charged into battle and lead the fightback to post 28-ball 45 working alongside Mark Watt who scored 22 off 17 balls to help put up a decent score to defend against Bangladesh. Later Scotland limited their opponents to 134 for seven in the 20 overs to post a win by six runs.
