Scotland have named left‑arm spinner Kirstie Gordon in their squad for the Women’s T20 World Cup in England, marking her first international appearance since 2019 and her maiden outing for Scotland. The 28‑year‑old, who previously represented England in five T20Is and one Test, last played for Scotland in the 2017 NatWest T20 Cup. She arrives in strong form, having taken 11 wickets for Trent Rockets in the Women’s Hundred last season and eight more for The Blaze in the 2026 domestic One‑Day Cup.
Head coach Craig Wallace praised her as a world‑class addition who can elevate standards within the group. The 15‑player squad, captained by Kathryn Bryce, also features uncapped pacer Maisie Maceira and fellow 2025 Under‑19 graduates Gabriella Fontenla and Pippa Sproul. Hannah Rainey, Niamh Robertson‑Jack and Mollie Annie Parker miss out. As preparation, Scotland will host a tri‑series with Bangladesh and the Netherlands in Edinburgh.
