Al Ahli to submit opening bid to Man City for Mahrez

Al Ahli want to make Riyad Mahrez their third signing of the summer after signing Roberto Firmino and Edouard Mendy. The Saudi club will submit a €20m opening bid for him.

According to journalist Santi Aouna, they will offer the right winger a four-season contract and hope Manchester City will accept their offer.

Riyad Mahrez is already a Champions League winner and was part of Leicester City's Premier League success in 2016. As a result, the Algerian could look for a new destination in the summer transfer window.

The 32-year-old has scored 78 goals and provided 58 assists in 236 appearances for Manchester City. His time at the Etihad Stadium could come to an end this summer to begin a new adventure in the Saudi league.
