Alessandro Marcandalli is a major target for Milan

Milan has shown a strong desire to strengthen their defence as Stefano Pioli continues to sustain injuries in his training. The three other defenders sidelined for action are Pierre Kalulu, Marco Pellegrino, and Mattia Caldara. Davide Calabria was the most recent addition to this list. The Rossoneri management must bring on a backup as soon as possible. Reggiana defender Alessandro Marcandalli is a major target for Milan to enhance their defensive future. The 21-year-old custodian is presently on loan from Genoa in Serie B.

After attending the Atalanta youth programme, Marcandalli moved to Giana Erminio in Gorgonzola. The previous season, he was loaned to Pontedera in Serie C from Genoa, where he became one of the team's top players. The young player has been watched by Milan top scout Geoffrey Moncada for some time, and other possible targets include Lloyd Kelly and Finn Van Breemen.
