Alexis Sanchez could return to Arsenal next season

Alexis Sanchez already knows what it is like to play for Arsenal. His current contract with Marseille expires at the end of the season and his future is uncertain.

'The Sun' claimed on Monday that the Gunners are considering re-signing him as a free agent for next season. The Chilean striker played at the Emirates Stadium between 2014 and 2018 and won two FA Cups.

The 34-year-old's priority is to play in the Champions League next campaign. The same media outlet reported that Arsenal's board would be willing to bring Sanchez back but it has not been a request from Mikel Arteta.

The former Barcelona footballer has scored 18 goals and provided four assists in 36 competitive matches this season for the French club.
