Ambitious Monza fight hard for a 3-2 triumph against Frosinone

The visitors have looked well this season under coach Raffaele Palladino, picking up victories over Sassuolo, Genoa, and Empoli to move into the top half of the Serie A league.

Monza got off to a good start at the Stadio Benito Stirpe, taking the lead after 18 minutes thanks to an Andrea Colpani effort that allowed Danny Mota to get past the Frosinone back line. In front of Stefano Turati, he made no mistake, putting the Biancorossi up 1-0. Visitors were awarded in the 45th minute when Mota set up Colpani for the second goal. Frosinone looked more upbeat in the second half, but their spirits were dashed in the 55th minute when Matias Soule unintentionally knocked the ball into his own net, making it 3-0 to the visitors. Later Abdou Harroui and Soule did pull two goals back but Monza stayed firm and won 3-2.
