Another embarrassing loss for Chelsea

Wolves celebrated their first victory at Stamford Bridge since 1979 thanks to a hat-trick from Matheus Cunha. In the 19th minute, Moises Caicedo's brilliant ball that split the defense for Cole Palmer to score calmly from an angled finish to put Chelsea ahead. However, Chelsea's advantage was only in place for three minutes when Cunha's strike caught Thiago Silva off guard and caught Blues goalie Djordje Petrovic off guard as well.

When Rayan Ait Nouri's attempt deflected in for an own goal off Chelsea defender Axel Disasi in the 43rd minute, Pochettino appeared irate. Later, Pedro Neto set Cunha up for the Wolves' third goal in the 63rd minute, the already tense atmosphere became even more pressured. Cunha's penalty kick in the 82nd minute, given for a foul by Malo Gusto, ended Pochettino's awful afternoon and Silva's close-range goal in the 86th minute offered him no comfort.
