Antwerp win the Belgian Cup

Antwerp won the Belgian Cup last Sunday by beating KV Mechelen 2-0 in the final. Goals from the Dutchman Vincent Janssen (35') and the Belgian Michel-Ange Balikwisha (81') gave 'The Great Old' victory.

Mark van Bommel's men have qualified for the Belgian Pro League play-offs and are therefore in a position to clinch the double.

With six play-off games to be played between the top four teams in the regular season, Real Antwerp, Belgium's oldest club, are in third place, two points behind RC Genk and Union Saint-Gilloise.
