After his team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to clinch a 2-2 Premier League draw against Chelsea on Saturday and maintain their undefeated record, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta complimented his team's belief. Arsenal's typically exuberant and self-assured team appeared lethargic and heavy-footed against Chelsea's high-energy squad for a large portion of the game. Chelsea was in the lead because of a successful penalty kick from Cole Palmer in the 15th minute, and later Mykhailo Mudryk's goal three minutes into the second half increased their lead further and put more pressure on Arsenal.
Chelsea had all the control until Declan Rice scored following a blunder in the goalie Robert Sanchez's distribution. "With 13 minutes remaining, his goal gave Arsenal the confidence they needed," remarked Pochettino. With six minutes remaining thereafter, Leandro Trossard gave Arsenal their second goal as Chelsea's defense faltered salvaging a point for the side.
