Cadiz dropped off relegation zone defeating Girona 2-0

On Friday, Cadiz dropped out from the Spanish League relegation zone when it defeated Girona by 2-0. The Spanish team is now on 15th position and has come 3 ranks up then before, placed on 18th. Now Valencia is in danger of the drop and fell into the last three and is now on 18th. The goals were scored by the midfielder Gonzalo Escalante and the striker Sergi Guardiola. This was Escalante’s second goal in the three matches he has played for Cadiz.
