Chicharito Hernandez and LA Galaxy officially part ways

Javier Hernandez Balcazar, better known as 'Chicharito' is no longer an LA Galaxy franchise player. The MLS team just announced they decided to cut ties with the Mexican striker after an in-depth analysis of his situation. Amid multiple injuries suffered since he arrived at the club, Hernandez played a total of 82 games and scored 39 goals with six assists.

The player himself thanked everybody at Galaxy and hinted he does not plan to retire just yet by mentioning new challenges through an Instagram post. He wrote: "Life becomes exciting when you allow yourself to change and evolve to new challenges. Thanks to everyone who was involved in my journey these 4 years. Thank you for everything LA Galaxy."
