Everton star Amadou Onana has emerged as a priority target

The Belgian midfielder is of great interest to Barça since the sports director wants to add muscle and toughness to the midfield.

It has been stated, though, that Barça would only make a conditional offer of up to €40 million for the 22-year-old warrior in midfield, and would not pay a cent more. But according to SPORT, Everton has now informed Barcelona that they will not be accepting their offer of €40 million plus add-ons for Onana. After signing the 22-year-old giant for €35 million in 2022, Everton would be happy to let him go given their issues this season and their financial difficulties. Everton is now willing to pay double what Barcelona is willing to pay for the player, valuing him at €60 million. Onana is a player that Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing, and they have the financial means to match Everton's asking price.
