Gordon hints at summer exit as European giants circle Newcastle forward

Anthony Gordon has opened the door to a potential departure from Newcastle United at the end of the season, with growing interest from major European clubs including Arsenal and Bayern Munich. The Telegraph reports that Gordon hopes to resolve his future before the World Cup, while Newcastle appear willing to listen to offers early in the summer, despite no formal request from the player to leave.

Inside the club, there is a sense he could follow a path similar to Alexander Isak, who forced a move last year before being sold for a record fee. Newcastle will not consider negotiations unless an offer reaches eighty million pounds, the figure set as the minimum valuation. Gordon, twenty‑five, is under contract until June 2030 and has enjoyed an impressive campaign, scoring seventeen goals and providing five assists in forty‑six appearances across all competitions, making him one of the team’s standout performers.
