Haaland scored twice as Dortmund routs Besiktas 5-0

Borussia Dortmund brought in Erling Haaland as the second-half substitute who scored a brace to help Bundesliga’s side to a 5-0 rout of Turkish team Beşiktaş. Wrapping up the final match of the group stage in Champions League on Tuesday to secure the third position in Group C. Haaland met Nico Schulz’s cross within five minutes and with a thumping header put a goal past Ersin Destanoğlu in the 68th minute then later he scored another header in the 81st minute.

In just 19 appearances the 21-year-old took his tally to 23 goals. Marco Reus scored a brace as well and Donyell Malen completed the scoring sheet and denied Beşiktaş a single point in the competition. In Group C, Ajax and Sporting Lisbon secured the top two spots.
