Harry Kane scores as Munich wins 4-3 at Allianz Arena

Bayern Munich's Harry Kane scored his team's third goal from the penalty spot against Manchester United at the Allianz Arena in the Champions League Group A match to help the side win all three points. Manchester United attempted a late comeback, but it was all in vain as Bayern Munich won 4-3 in their Champions League group-stage opening on Wednesday. Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry made the host comfortable in the 28th and 32nd minutes, with injury-plagued United drawing a goal back in the 49th through Rasmus Hojlund's deflected strike.

United's dreams of a comeback were dashed four minutes later with Kane scored from the penalty area and restored Bayern's two-goal lead. Casemiro scored from close range in the 88th minute, but Bayern's replacement Mathys Tel scored again in dead time. With the game's last play, Casemiro headed in another for United.
