Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi waiting for green light

The clubs just need to finalise things, according to SportItalia transfer market specialist Alfredo Pedulla, who says on his webpage that everything is set up. Sensi has been the target of Leicester during the January transfer window. The 28-year-old Italian international is a favourite of Foxes coach Enzeo Maresca. The transfer of Sensi has been made possible in large part by Maresca's advocacy.

The former Italian coach, who served as Pep Guardiola's assistant at Manchester City, was also instrumental in persuading the player to make the transfer. Additionally, Cesare Casadei, a former Inter midfielder, has been persuaded by Leicester's coach to return from his loan to Chelsea. That was done to create space for Sensi. However, a definitive contract between the two teams has not yet been reached. And for the previous week or so, Inter has been focused on their responsibilities in the Supercoppa Italiana.
