The Nerazzurri have put the 28-year-old former Lazio star firmly on their list of players who can go during the transfer season, but to yet, there have been no takers, according to Italian news site Gazzetta.it. Based on his two seasons at Inter, Joaquin Correa can only be characterised as a major financial failure.
The Argentine had high hopes when he moved from Lazio in the summer of 2021, but in his two seasons at Inter, he hasn't had the desired effect. Around €30 million was paid by the Nerazzurri to get the Argentine. However, in 77 games across all leagues, Correa has only managed to score 10 goals. Injury has significantly reduced Correa's ability to contribute and perform. The former Sevilla and Sampdoria player has participated in a significant number of Inter Milan games, although his playing time has been inconsistent.
