Julian Brandt scores late for Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund drew 3-3 with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga thanks to a late goal from Julian Brandt. Dortmund came from behind twice to tie the game against in-form Frankfurt, securing a point that keeps them within two points of champions Bayern Munich ahead of their encounter next weekend. Edin Terzic's team is currently four points down of league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, who defeated Freiburg 2-1.

Dortmund struggled to handle Frankfurt in the first half. After only eight minutes, Egyptian attacker Omar Marmoush converted a penalty successfully. Soon after, Marmoush extended the advantage further by netting another goal. Dortmund rode their luck until first-half injury time when Marcel Sabitzer scored a quick goal against the flow of play. Later, Youssoufa Moukoko leveled the game with a low shot from the edge of the box. However, Frankfurt swiftly regained the lead thanks to Fares Chaibi. And Brandt made atonement on 82 minutes with a first-time strike from a Karim Adeyemi cross to salvage a point for the side.
