Federico Chiesa, a former European Championship hero and the shining star of Italian football a few years ago, is one player Juventini hopes the team keeps. Although Chiesa's issues were first caused by an ACL tear, the system is ultimately to blame for the former Fiorentina player's difficulties. Allegri's future is uncertain since he has been playing Chiesa out of position and offending Juve's best player.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Chiesa's transfer requests as well as those for loanee Matías Soulé would be considered by Juventus this summer. Along with star striker Dušan Vlahović and Turkish offensive midfielder Kenan Yildiz, two of Juve's greatest players are Soulé and Chiesa. With 10 goals for the underdog team this season, Soulé has outperformed all of those names and is a strong contender for Serie A Player of the Season for Frosinone. He has also broken free from Allegri's system.
