For the most of this season, Juventus has been pressing Adrien Rabiot to sign a new deal. At the end of the previous season, he signed a one-season extension because the Bianconeri wanted him to continue. Juventus has been keen to start conversations with his entourage and now wants him to pledge his long-term future to the team. Suspicion that he wants to leave has grown, nevertheless, as they have not shown much interest in staying longer at the club. Rabiot's retention is still a top goal for the Bianconeri, who are already planning to add more midfield players to their roster in the summer if he departs.
In the most recent negotiations, Juventus agreed to pay him €7 million a season; nevertheless, he may want a raise in order to sign a new contract.
