Kun Aguero denies rumours of returning to football

After talk of a possible return to the field of play by Kun Aguero, he wanted to explain: "It's totally untrue that I'm going to return". Many rumours pointed to a possible return to Independiente.

The reason he gave for putting an end to the speculation was the following: "Obviously, to return to training at first-team level I would need to undergo a lot of tests". He also criticised the dissemination of this false information: "Sometimes they know that they make things up".

These rumours started because the former Manchester City player said in one of his live reports that he had spoken to his cardiologist and he had been told that he was in good health. There was speculation from Argentina that Aguero could start training with his home club.

Sergio Aguero had to quit football due to heart problems in December 2021.
