After scoring the only goal in Atletico Madrid's 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano, striker Antoine Griezmann has officially become the club's fifth all-time highest scorer. He now tallies 130 goals and has surpassed former teammate Fernando Torres in the standings.
After the game, Griezmann took to Twitter to express his joy at his latest achievement. "130 goals. An honor to continue writing pages in the history of Atleti and appear among such legendary names!" wrote the post.
José Eulogio Garate (136), Paco Campos (146), Adrian Escudero (169) and Luis Aragonés (172) are the only players ahead of him in the all-time standings.
When breaking down the goals, the Frenchman has scored 91 in LaLiga, 21 in the Champions League, six in the Europa League and 12 in the Copa del Rey.
