Liverpool have a few injury concerns as they prepare to face Newcastle United

During their Premier League match against Newcastle United on Saturday, Ibrahima Konate and Thiago Alcantara are expected to miss Liverpool. Due to a hamstring injury, Konate, a France international, missed the past two matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton. The 23-year-old is frustrated by the fact that he has only been able to make 10 appearances so far this season, and as he hasn't been seen in practise this week, his absence against the Magpies is set to continue.

Midfielder Thiago will be out "for a long," according to Reds manager Jurgen Klopp, after missing the Merseyside derby on Monday.
