Madrid consider signing Inacio in January

Real Madrid will not wait until the 2024/25 season to reinforce their defence and will look for reinforcements in the January transfer window. Sporting CP centre-back Goncalo Inacio is on their radar, according to 'AS'.

The Portuguese defender is well-liked by Carlo Ancelotti and the Italian manager wants to fill the spot left by Eder Militao's serious injury. The Sporting CP defender is ready to make the move to the Santiago Bernabeu and follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Inacio has a buyout clause of 60 million euros. At just 22 years of age, he has scored eleven goals and provided eight assists in 134 competitive matches with the Portuguese side.

Since his debut on 4th October 2020, he has risen to the level of being indispensable in Roberto Martinez's new Portugal.
