Man United secured 3-2 win over Aston Villa

In front of an enthusiastic crowd at Old Trafford, Manchester United overcame a two-goal deficit to defeat Aston Villa 3-2 thanks to a goal from Rasmus Hojlund, their first Premier League goal. Man Utd moved up to sixth place in the table with this victory, their first in four league games. A John McGinn set-play that went right in gave the Aston team the early lead, and Erik ten Hag's team was behind 2-0 at the half. Five minutes later, Leander Dendoncker extended United's deficit with another set-piece, this time a corner.

Man United, though, came back from the midway point with a purpose. Alejandro Garnacho believed he had pulled one back, but VAR determined it was offside. In less than ten minutes, the Argentina international struck twice to bring Man United back to par.
