Journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports that Manchester United and Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat are nearing an agreement on a £30 million deal.
The 26-year-old has been more well-known recently on both the club and international levels. He was a key contributor to Morocco's remarkable run to the World Cup semifinals in Qatar. Amrabat played a crucial role in helping Fiorentina reach the finals of the Europa Conference League and the Coppa Italia during the 2022–23 season. Due to Juventus' withdrawal from European tournaments, his parent team, which placed eighth in Serie A, earned a spot in the Europa Conference League. In a total of 107 appearances since moving to Fiorentina from Hellas Verona in 2020, he has one goal and one assist. He played for teams including Feyenoord, Utrecht, and Club Brugge before joining Fiorentina.
