Marvel signs new contract

In fact, the 20-year-old rookie has been practising with the first team for the past few weeks and is expected to fill in at centre back for Nacho Fernandez, David Alaba, and Antonio Rudiger. In addition to receiving a promotion within the team, Marvel is now said to have renewed his contract with Real Madrid, according to recent reports. Marvel's Real Madrid contract has been extended until 2026, according to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic.

The 20-year-old prospect's present contract had a remaining term of 2025, and negotiations for a new agreement had been ongoing for some time. Marvel has been practising with the first team, but as of right now, he hasn't been selected for a game. He has, however, only appeared in one game for Raul Gonzalez's Real Madrid Castilla squad. The starting center-backs for Carlo Ancelotti right now are Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba, with Nacho serving as the top backup.
