Milan's 1-0 win over lowly Empoli

With his eighth league goal in an excellent first season in Italy, USA international Pulisic gave Milan a dramatic victory with a deflected shot off hapless Empoli defender Sebastiano Luperto. After leaving Chelsea over the summer, the 25-year-old moved to Milan from London. Since then, he has scored 10 goals and assisted six more in all competitions.

"Getting the three points was fantastic for us, and it's a nice feeling. We take it, even though it wasn't a particularly good goal or particularly fortunate," Pulisic told DAZN. "I think I'm playing at my best right now. The coaches, my teammates, the city, and the fans have all shown me a lot of confidence and faith. I'm thus feeling quite happy right now." Milan defeated Juventus for the runner-up berth in the Champions League, who play home to Atalanta later on Sunday.
