Modric leaves rivalry with Barcelona aside and sends message to Busquets

Luka Modric decided to use social networks on Wednesday to leave a message for Sergio Busquets, the Spanish midfielder who will leave Barcelona at the end of this season.

"One of the best midfielders I've ever played against. It was a pleasure," wrote the Croatian international.

Luka Modric has been at Real Madrid since 2012 and, so far, has faced his rival on dozens of occasions, as Sergio Busquets only represented Barcelona as a senior, a club he has represented since 2005.

It should be remembered that the 34-year-old Spaniard decided that the 'goodbye' to the Catalans will take place at the end of this season, with the expectation of becoming Spanish champion very soon, being able to leave for football adventures outside Europe.
