Munich sets a record for Bundesliga

Bayern Munich set a club record with eight goals in the second half against Darmstadt. In addition, the Rekordmeister set a league record with 34 goals in their first nine games of the season. After four minutes, they made things tough for themselves when Joshua Kimmich was sent out, but Darmstadt quickly leveled the score when Klaus Gjasula was sent off in the twenty-first. Darmstadt was subsequently reduced to 10 vs 9 for a large portion of the match when Matej Maglica was given a red card as well.

While both sides were equal before halftime, Bayern Munich emerged with a fierce vigor. In the 51st minute, Harry Kane scored his first goal. He would go on to score his second hat-trick in the Bundesliga in the 88th minute. Thomas Müller became the first player in Bayern's history to score at least one goal in fifteen different Bundesliga seasons, while Leroy Sané and Jamal Musiala each scored braces to set up an 8-0 win against Darmstadt.
