Nantes defeat Clermont Foot

In their first four Ligue 1 games of the year, Nantes were winless, picking up two draws and two loses. Simon was hoping to contribute as they headed to Stade Gabriel Montpeid to play Clermont Foot. He already had two assists from the team's first four games. Although both sides played with a lot of energy in the first half, they were unable to penetrate each other's defences. Simon then unleashed a beautiful long-range shot that barely dipped into the goal.
