Napoli comfortably sealed a 2-0 victory against Sassuolo

Victor Osimhen and Giovanni Di Lorenzo scored goals for Napoli in their 2-0 home victory against Sassuolo on Sunday. After 16 minutes, Osimhen scored the game's first goal by converting a penalty after Matteo Politano was fouled by Daniel Boloca of Sassuolo. Maxime Lopez's dismissal in the 51st minute for verbally insulting the referee made matters worse for the visiting squad.

Around the hour mark, Jeremy Toljan handled the ball and Napoli was given another penalty; however, Giacomo Raspadori's attempt went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's brilliantly executed through ball put Di Lorenzo on an open route to score, doubling Napoli's advantage. After recuperating from a muscular injury, the Georgian midfielder was making his first start of the year as a substitute. Three minutes after entering the game, he assisted.
