Pioli ecstatic with Milan star Leao rebels at Napoli

Stefano Pioli praised Rafael Leão after he returned to form with two goals in AC Milan's remarkable 4-0 thrashing of Napoli, declaring the striker had gone nowhere during his recent goal drought.

After 11 games without a goal for Milan, Leao destroyed Napoli when the defending champions claimed a memorable victory over the Serie A leaders at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

After kicking Alex Meret for the first goal, Leao scored his second goal of the game – and his 10th of the Serie A season – with a powerful left-footed finish to cap off a lightning break from Pioli's men.

Leao - Serie A's Player of the Season last season - drew criticism during his recent lean spell, but Pioli always believed he would rediscover his best form.
