Radu Dragusin has revealed the reasons for his decision to join Tottenham Hotspur from Genoa after speaking with Ange Postecoglou.
After Spurs and Genoa reached an agreement on a transfer of £21.5 million plus an additional £4 million in add-ons, the 21-year-old will wear the number six shirt for the north London team. Djed Spence will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Genoa. Dragusin remained committed to Tottenham despite Bayern Munich's last-minute attempt to steal the deal, according to his agent, who said the German team paid him more than twice as much as Spurs. In order for Postecoglou to choose Dragusin to play against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, he must first obtain international clearance and a work visa. Dragusin signed a deal that lasted until 2030.
