Real Madrid offered the chance to bring Raphael Varane back

Raphael Varane's brief stint at Manchester United is apparently coming to an end since Real Madrid has reportedly been offered the option to bring him back to the Santiago Bernabeu. The French centre back's possible exit from Old Trafford became rumoured after Erik ten Hag, the manager of United, benched him many times. Reports surfaced suggesting that Varane and Ten Hag's relationship had been strained this season after the center-back was left out of the starting lineup in United's 3-0 loss to Manchester City last month.

Despite his dissatisfaction with his current circumstances, The Peoples Person subsequently stated that the 30-year-old is eager to stay at United; yet, he has been linked to transfers to many teams. Varane's pro-League interest was shown by Saudi Arabia in January, but Ten Hag is allegedly determined to keep the World Cup champion at Old Trafford.
