Roma close to ultimate decision on Donyell Malen

Donyell Malen was loaned from Aston Villa for 25 million euros, Roma are acting in order to convert the loan into a permanent deal at the end of the current season.

According to Italian press, Roma will activate the purchase clause regardless of conditions related to participation rate or European qualification, given the strong conviction in the level of performance the player is delivering.

Malin joined Roma during the winter transfer window on loan and quickly managed to prove himself remarkably, scoring 10 goals in 12 matches in the Italian league.

The Dutch striker's contract with Roma will extend until 2030 if the deal is officially completed, amid expectations that he will be one of the key pillars in the team's project in the coming seasons.
